Terms for using Rapflections.

1. About Rapflections

Rapflections is a digital reflection tool by DoDiversity, technically developed by Luso Nexo, Unipessoal Lda. The tool helps participants reflect on values and behaviour through short rap quotes. The output is a personal profile intended as a starting point for a conversation, not a definitive judgement.

2. Voluntary participation

  • Participation is voluntary. You can stop at any time.
  • The tool provides reflection, not a factual assessment.

3. How it works

  • You respond to rap quotes and select the interpretation that fits you best.
  • You receive a profile and can indicate what fits and what does not.
  • Some versions include a reflection exercise using the STAR method and open text fields.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for what you enter and share.
  • Do not enter personal data, especially in open text fields. Use general descriptions only.
  • Do not attempt to identify other participants or disrupt the tool, for example through scraping or misuse of access codes.

5. Use by organisations

Rapflections may be used for recruitment, research or workshops. An organisation may provide access to a specific version. Only if you share your profile or output with an organisation can it use that information in its conversations or processes. Rapflections must not be the sole basis for decisions about you.

6. Data, anonymity and AI improvement

  • Most versions process no directly identifying personal data.
  • The demo requests an email address to send an access code. This email address is deleted after 5 days and is not linked to your answers.
  • Choices, feedback and, where applicable, STAR responses are stored to operate the tool, improve the profile algorithm and generate aggregated insights at group level.
  • We do not make automated decisions that affect you personally. The output is intended for dialogue.

7. Intellectual property and rap quotes

  • The Rapflections tool, concept and interface are protected by the intellectual property rights of DoDiversity and/or its licensors.
  • Rap quotes remain under the copyright of the original rights holders. Rapflections uses short quotes with attribution as part of reflection.
  • Rapflections links to external platforms such as YouTube and Spotify for listening to the original music.

8. Availability and liability

  • We do our best to keep Rapflections available and secure. The tool is provided "as is".
  • DoDiversity is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, or damage caused by misuse of the tool.
  • Use of the output remains your responsibility and that of the organisation using it.

9. Misuse

We may block or terminate access in cases of misuse, such as deliberately trying to identify participants, disrupting the tool or violating these terms.
